Jim was very welcoming when we arrived showed us to our room, very comfortable lovely room had an excellent breakfast to start the day!! Great host would definately recommend staying here!!!

We arrived at around 7pm looking rather bedraggled by the constant headwind we had for most of the day and met John at the door who was a great host. We inundated him with questions and requested some fresh milk for our tea making for which he obliged without any complaint.Stayed on the top floor in room 5 - the rather spacious twin room! Very clean and comfortable beds with a sea view out of the window. The bathroom was HUGE!!Our breakfast was superb and nothing was too much trouble. I even tried some haggis. When asked by John if we wanted anything else I said "yes please the same again" he was going to give me the same breakfast again, but I had to resist as I've been on a diet for 40 years and not lost an ounce yet!!A great place if not thee best place to stay in Carnoustie - would definately stay here again without any hesitation!Our bikes were safely stored in the shed that was locked overnight.
