Great stay.... room was terrific size and very comfortable. (Golf view). The leisure facilities were great and clean. Staff very helpful and breakfast was smashing.
Won't be back! We were woken up at 5.45am on the Sunday morning by delivery directly below our window (room 137) which was above the spa. Cages being transferred back and forth and shutters going up and down which lasted until 6am. When we complained next day we were told we could have 20% of our next stay. Further correspondence via email has resulted in manager saying these deliveries are essential to running of hotel and they can't tell delivery company when to deliver??? As we have stated we won't be back he has agreed to 20% refund. Despite HQ (Bespoke Hotels) being cc'd into correspondence, they have failed to comment. Our weekend was ruined and we were too tired to use spa facilities before breakfast next morning and as there was a large party from night before, we had to eat our cooked breakfast over 3 servings as they kept running out of food so did not have time to go after breakfast either. It would appear keeping the delivery company happy is more important than customer satisfaction. If the delivery company dictate these times then why on earth place your paying customers in the rooms directly above?
Rooms are big and have had a much needed makeover. Restaurant excellent as always. Staff very good.
Nice staff relaxed but want you to have a good time. Stayed over Xmas period loved brass band, food was very good stuffed is not the word. Thank you Carnoustie for another stay.
Only stayed for one night but found the whole experience very good. Food was good. Staff were all friendly and helpful. The leisure facilities were great and the room was clean and cosy. We will be back.
