Lovely hotel/bar/restaurant in East end of Carnoustie. We eat here with our two kids regularly and love it. Food is really amazing. They have game nights and Steak nights. Lovely atmosphere and nice clean place with fab staff. We stayed in the rooms after their Hogmanay party and they were pleasant, comfortable and spotless with great views over the Tay. Have never had a complaint and would recommend to anyone. One of the best pub/restaurants in Carnoustie. Nice family seating area and an equally lovely and lively bar area.

Well decorated establishment, plenty of seating area, great buzz in the bar area.
Sadly the standard of food has gone down considerably recently. My wife was served chicken which was tough and appeared to be undercooked. Service was also slow. The menu consists of mainly fried food. I do hope this problem can be addressed as not to do so can only lead to a downturn.
